PAI is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer proficient in ColdFusion as well as modern web technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead web development team in the areas of new and emerging technologies, best practices and system architecture.
• Design, develop and implement web-based applications in a modular and scalable fashion based on clearly defined requirements.
• Design, develop and implement highly complex applications utilizing ColdFusion, CFWheels, Bootstrap, JavaScript, MySQL, ElasticSearch, and HTMX.
• Rewrite current Intranet which is written in PHP to a CFWheels application.
• Rewrite current terminal based ERP system which is written in UniVerse to a CFWheels application.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems across a large enterprise.
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and ability to handle change easily while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing to design efficient and effective applications.
• Work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction.
• Perform maintenance on programs currently in production.
• Provide clear, concise documentation for code and other development artifacts.
• Participate in code reviews for team members as well as yourself.
• Assist in the implementation of applications through various testing phases and into production environments.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required Skills:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 6 Years Min. experience in ColdFusion development
• 2-3 Years Min. experience in SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as SVN/GIT, GitHub
• Experience creating or consuming REST web services
• Experience developing on multiple platforms including Macintosh, Windows and/or Linux
• 3 years of progressively more complex programming experience in large scale information system environments
• Proficiency in CFWheels, experience in other MVC framework considered
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (i.e. JQuery, Angular, or Dojo)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS

The ideal candidate would be active in the CFML community and a contributor to open source projects. Contributing, creating, and maintaining open source projects would be an integral part of the day to day duties of this role.
